It took the Canadians a little longer to build up
Niagara Falls Ontario, which used to be home to primarily businesses and factories. The area really took off in a boon during the 1990s and is now home to some of the most beautiful views of the falls. Queen Victoria Park on the Canadian side is home to luscious gardens, and views of both the American and Horseshoe Falls, as well as other observation rooms to see the spraying water. Victoria Falls in Africa is still much more impressive, but the Canadian Niagara Falls is still a stunning sight and Horseshoe Falls is about 173 feet tall and 2,600 feet wide.
One block from Horseshoe Falls and connected to the Fallsview Casino by an indoor glass walkway, the

If you're looking for a bit of Hollywood history while visiting the falls on the Canadian side, the
Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls Fallsview is where Marilyn Monroe stayed during the 1953 filming of the movie, “Niagara.” The hotel is located within the Falls Avenue entertainment complex and is linked by an indoor walkway to the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark and Casino Niagara. The completely renovated hotel still provides plenty of old-world charm, as well as a glimpse of Niagara Falls from the hotel lobby.
